My problem with your post calling her a snake is she’s really sub-herpetic. The Black Snakes in my yard do great things eating all the vermin and none has ever threatened me. OTOH she’s a low form of particularly toxic vermin that threatens all of us.
I was thinking to call them cockroaches but even they have value..I only thought of snakes from that poem that President Trump sometimes recites, the story of the venomous snake
