That last is one reason why taxis are replaced by Uber, Lyft and the like. There’s no cash and a LOT of trackable information required for someone to summon one.

That’s a great point - though the risk may go the other way. Just saw a story where one of those drivers took a family to the airport, then robbed their empty home...
