On US-Mexico border, militia vow to patrol until 'wall is up'

In the southeasternmost pocket of the US state of New Mexico, with El Paso, Texas, to the east and Mexico a stone's throw south, there is a small camp: a few tents and a weathered trailer.

It is home to the half dozen or so members of the United Constitutional Patriots (UCP) -- a small but well-armed militia dipping their toes into the US border vigilante movement.(snip)

Bush was the first to call us vigilantes. Still have not nor will I ever forgive him for that.

Where is your sector? You sound like the brass more than the boots. We got along great with most boots but brass not so well. As far as getting in the way, do what we do.

We exchanged our Garmin radio transponders with BP so that they would know us right off the bat as friend and not foe.

We wore IR strobes on our gear so that the helo with night vision as well as people on the ground knew we were friend.

AND never ever forget, YOU WORK FOR US, We the People.

Militias on the border can be at unpredictable locations I’d be willing to bet 1k the Coyotes and drug runners are not thrilled by their presence.

Eartick, Brother Dawg... WOOF!!

Well-said, and it’s a point too often overlooked. At the end of EVERY day, they work FOR us.

This has got to catch on big time. Like hippies in the ‘60s. If Trump can manage to recognize and maybe even fund them, this could be huge.

Well if you have been to S Texas we have definitely kicked some of the same dirt or sugar sand. Have also done some time in New Mexico and Arizona, couple ops.

Never made it to California though. Heard there were some good people there thought fighting the fight.

The milituia, if there were enough of them, say 10,000 or so, would help fire the Donks back in Washington to pass the right laws on immigration.

Besides, PDJT can deputize the militia with a stroke of his pen, and then you can command them! ( grin)

I am not in management(brass). It sounds like your group was able to coordinate some what with border patrol, as far as I know at my station we have not coordinated with militias.

I am not suprised that agents were friendly, they have no reason not to be as long as you are not breaking the law. Like I said I understand your frustration and believe most militia are trying to help. The problem is that for the most part what they do does not help. It is not that militias are not trying, but due to legal restrictions they really cant do much.

Looks like you put some time in. Me too, 2004 MM month long op in Texas was mine.

After Simcox sold out to the government, jumped ship and started our own small team (never got bigger than 10).

Bought some different tactics to bear instead of waiting on them to show up, we started hunting using trackers on 4 wheelers and catch teams. Had a lot of ground action.........

We disbanded the second term of Odumbshit since we had intel from our CSO folks that we were going to be targeted.

We had great relationship with land owners and CSO and in a large part BP and working with NG. Started up a bloodhound tracking which we utilized with CSO, DEA and BP.

Landowners have been calling trying to get us back down there to patrol their property. BP is just not cutting it they are saying and traffic is 3x from what a few years ago. Mad rush for amnesty is what is fueling this.

Stay safe brother and keep your powder dry and never ever trust the government. They are not our friend.

Their heart wouldn’t be into it, though. Some jobs, only Americans can do right, like kicking an illegal in the a$$ and saying “GET OUT OF MY COUNTRY!” before cocking a shotgun.
