Its a pollen-pocalypse.
Stunning aerial photos show a haze of pollen so thick over Durham, North Carolina, it turned the sky yellow this week as doctors in the region have reported an uptick in patients complaining about their allergy symptoms.
In April in North Carolina we have an overlap for a couple weeks where we have pretty high counts of tree and then grass also gets started, Heather Gutekunst, a doctor with Allergy Partners of Raleigh, told ABC 11. So when we see that, if you are allergic to both, we tend to see an escalation in symptoms.

Certainly climate change must be responsible.
Heavy pollen count here in Denver as well. Daily allergy OTC meds just to survive. Still not so bad as to turn the sky yellow.
Park in the garage on upwind from the tree. My white Jeep Grand Cherokee turns yellow, too, if I park outside. The Pin Oaks drop an inordinate amount of pollen when they flower.
Huge wafts of pollen were stirred up and sent into the atmosphere in Georgia, as seen in this March 28 video, after a helicopter involved in a prescribed burn shook trees in the West Point wildlife management area.
Is this caused by trump?
I hope this doesn’t spur a rash of hate crime allegations.

We get this in Texas too from oak and pine trees. Central Texans, however, hate worse the dreaded cedar trees that spout pollen in the winter months every year. “Cedar fever” is a common winter malady.
