“This should be a national bill.”
Common sense doesn’t require a bill to do the right thing. And for the record, any foreign nationals can stand respectfully ceremony.

Amazingly last week while shopping in WalMart I heard “Sweet Home Alabama” playing over the PA system. I couldn’t believe my ears. Looking around I was the only white in a sea of minorities. IIRC, it had been singled out by the left as “racist” because the recording incorporates black choir music or something of that nature.
The problem with reciting the Pledge is the courts have long said students can't be forced to recite it. So many students will not do it that if you try, you begin the day with a discipline problem.
Good news. I trust it passes.
