Remember, they were a product of their times, as are kids today. If anyone is to blame, it would be their parents and elders.

No doubt that’s a big part of it. My big fear, not for me but for the younger generations in my family, is that they will have to experience, once again, the atrocities our elders worked so hard to defeat. I wasn’t greatest generation, but I served in hope that the US would continue to stand for good and for freedom from oppression. It seems that most of todays young are self absorbed or self indulgent. They are care free because of those that went before them, and they are blind to the evil in the world that is making great strides to bring the battle to our doorstep. Fortunately some still serve, but its such a small percentage now.

They are not all snowflakes. Remember, what you see on TV and the Internet is not “real.” Human eyes are drawn to shiny things.
