The leak of Flynn’s conversation occurred two days after CNN published a separate leak from “U.S. officials with direct knowledge” and “two national security officials” that then-FBI director James Comey had briefed Trump on parts of the Steele dossier after a more expansive briefing on Russian meddling by the directors of the NSA, FBI, Central Intelligence Agency, and national intelligence. That CNN leak was the “hook” that provided journalistic license to publish the details of the unsubstantiated dossier, which media organizations hadn’t considered appropriately vetted and sourced to merit publication—until the leak.

The FBI and Yates were similarly galvanized by the “hook” the Ignatius leak provided on January 12. Less than two weeks later, on January 24, FBI agent Peter Strzok and his partner were in Flynn’s office, questioning him on the Kislyak phone call. Yates made her first trip to the White House two days after that, on January 26.

Her message? Flynn had lied to Vice President Mike Pence about his conversations with Kislyak, and the vice president was erroneously telling reporters Flynn didn’t discuss sanctions during those calls.

I’ll say it again:

Trump should have left the Inauguration Podium and fired EVERYBODY in the FedGov down 2 to 3 pay levels from the top.

This RESIST gamesmanship has cost us 2+ years of valuable time.

“Sally Yates’ Justice Department had no legitimate reason to believe Michael Flynn was either compromised or susceptible to compromise, yet they carried on as if it were so.”

Just part of the poisonous Obama hate America administration.

Oh by the way. In case you are wondering why Maduro remains in power if Venezuela, you might want to count the number of Obama appointees that remain in key positions in the CIA, NSA and the Pentagon. Trump’s policies are opposed and sabotaged.

This is why I don’t trust Pence. He was very quick to throw Flynn to the wolves.

For me, Flynn threw himself on his sword to protect Pence.

Flynn was a long-time intel officer. He of all people knew his conversations with Kislyak were monitored by both Russian and US intelligence. He knew nothing he said was private.

Sally Yates also pushed the stupid Logan Act as her pretext to inject herself on General Flynn.

She needs to see American Justice and I hope her name appears on the referrals from Cong. Devin Nunes.

“Yates was aware, likely through intercepts of Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak’s communications, that the newly seated national security advisor, retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, had discussed with Kislyak Russia’s response to the Obama administration “

This LIE never ends. Pence perpetuated it doing his GOPe duty to torpedo Flynn.

Flynn did not DISCUSS sanctions. When Kislyak brought it up, Flynn said he could not discuss it and that would be a topic for another day. Yates and Pence spin saying “I cannot discuss that” as a discussion on the issue. Flynn honestly reported back that he had no discussions on the sanctions. Pence ran breathlessly to Meet the Press and said he was lied to.

Total BS and Yates was a criminal. But without a willing ear in Pence it would have gone nowhere. Women swoon over the nutroll because of the dining alone thing...but he is a damned NWO snake in the grass.

“The leak of Flynn’s conversation occurred two days after CNN...”

The conversation where when sactions came up, Flynn said “that is a topic for another day...”.
Pence stabbed Flynn (and Trump) in the back by claiming Flynn mislead him. He didn’t have the backbone to stand his ground and explain that saying you can’t discuss something is not “discussing” it.

Also... Obama was conducting illegal surveillance on the incoming Trump administration. This is pure Stasi/NKVD/Gestapo.

Flynn’s phone call to Kislyak was made from a foreign country (the Dominican Republic). That alone should have disqualified him from working in any national security post.
