Like what? You were asked for specfics and gave a meaningless generality. The number of illegals she can detain is limited by spending appropiations at fewer than are coming across each month. the courts have ruled she can’t hold minors more than a couple weeks. Any DHS Secretary is going to have their hands tied. So what SPECIFICALY should she have done to magically end catch and release?
Totally ineffective. She was Kelly’s girl and Kelly did everything he could to thwart Trump’s agenda. Good riddance. She was also graceless in not thanking Trump for giving her the opportunity and having anything nice to say about or to him in her resignation letter.
I just hope this isn’t another position where he keeps putting anti-Trump people into the office.

There are a lot of Obama holdovers in directors and other senior level management at border patrol. There needs to be a purge.
How is that going to work? Can FEMA make arrests? Can they override the limits placed by Congress in spending bills on the total number that can be legally detained? Can they ignore court orders? Just saying “FEMA” doesn’t magically change the facts.

Don’t know what makes these people believe they were chosen to run their own agendas. POTUS should have the treasury claw aback every penny she’s been paid since taking the job.

For decades, I’ve been a proponent the rules of engagement be redefined by someone in power. Since this is now an emergency, and these people pose a threat to the security of this country that we allow them to be fired upon. But, it won’t happened, both side would have a hissy fit but it would stem the flow from the south.

They need to set up tents. They were good enough for our military in Iraq, they will be good enough for people who are supposedly fleeing for their lives. Also they need to appoint administrative judges to go through the first layer of refugees and turn back those who do not qualify. Also do some dna tests to see if the kids with them are really their kids. If not toss them out immediately. The children need to be returned to their home countries and let their government reunite them with their parents
She never "followed" the legislative or Constitutional laws of the U.S. She followed whatever a bunch of those rabid anti-American federal judges opined...
She should have been gone before she arrived in the position...
Yeah, what about those "unaccompanied minors"? The dummocraps are using them (not that they give a flying fig about them, really) as a new point to snarl wall construction and proper border patrolling. They are bleating that their living quarters are small and inadequate. I am quite sure that no matter how small and plain their living quarters (which they never should have in this country) are paradise compared to what they left.
i saw here on tucker early last week and it looked like she was choking on every word she said in support of trump’s positions ... apparently trump saw her do that too ...
