Overqualified people of all colors do not have a problem passing drug tests.

This is just another excuse for black “culture “.

I worked with a group of people screening 400 resumes to fill 7 open software development positions. Even after all of that scrutiny, one of the 7 was an incredible BS artist who couldn't code his way out of a paper bag. Fortunately, that failing was detected and corrected within 2 days.

One of my wife's co-workers (police dispatcher) is taking a position with the city just south. Now, it's a search for a candidate that can pass all the background and drug tests and has the aptitude to become a dispatcher in 15 weeks. The washout rate is pretty high.
