from what I read here it sounds like the police just wanted to watch - for personal reasons more so then professional since they had plenty of evidence already and lied to the judge to get camera installed.
With a warrant - yes.
My guess the police and higher ups wanted the big media splash arresting celebrity clients would bring. So they waited.
And not to mention Jupiter Island.
It seems like a very interesting legal challenge to me. Even if the police installed the cameras illegally, does Kraft have any legal grounds to challenge it if he wasn’t the owner of the business establishment?
Not a Pats fan, but to me, this is a pretty transparent set-up! Now if Tom Brady was the one that was set-up, then it would be ok ;-)
I don’t care what a 77-year old widower does for fun., wheter it was an entrapment setup in advance particularly aimed at him, or he just walked into it.
But, I am surprised that a multi-billionaire (Forbes rates him at $6.5 Bn) would go to such a low-rate venue for his fun. Maybe he was slumming it; maybe some of his friends recommended it as a fun down-market dive experience. It was reported that other surprisingly wealthy clients were there. It’s not as if he can’t afford to support a girlfriend—I read that he has been “dating” a 39-year old actress.
Maybe he did it for the same reason Charlie Sheen did - he wasn't paying for the sex, but for her to go away after sex.
Given last weekends Mara Lago incident, I think Kraft got swept in a Cointel operation.
Fifty bucks for starting, fifty for stopping?
