I don’t think AOC and her ilk realize that if you have a brainstorm and you come with a pie in the sky plan that costs three times the current national debt at 93 trillion dollars... it is not going to be generally acceptable.
Now it is an idea and maybe the industrial complex can figure out a way to bring the cost way way way way down...which might be met with less resistance.
There are three or kinds of people that are looking at this green New Deal there’s a kind that definitely want it but don’t like the 93 trillion dollar price tag, and there are people that generally want it and don’t care what it costs which will break the nation’s Bank and probably plunge the world into Global Depression and leave us with systemic obsolescence before or upon deployment. And there is that third group that just don’t even want to talk about it because they know that the technologies that we have today or anything close to what we need to pull it off with any kind of success is decades away.
So I’m thinking I’m in the third group. Develop better technology and come up with different ideas on how to apply better technology better. Simply put... we are not there yet. Battery storage technologies are improving and so is th quest for better conductors.
Heres an example of a great idea those time has not come technology oually...Building roads out of solar panels. That is so far out in left field and ain’t even funny. There will be flying cars and trucks before we have roads made out of solar panels that actually are viable and have some kind of longevity attached to him other than constantly repairing them with a material that presents hazmat concerns when disposed of.
There us a lot of potential in salt reactors and other nuclear options besides the current reactor technologies employed.
I think we can safely say that the scientific Community has been constantly working with manufacturing to get some things out on the market that they’ve been in development stages for decades. They’ve been in the development stages for decades because that’s how technologically complicated these systems and products are. But the diapers soilers want to be in charge yet utterly fail to understand technological development and the painstaking processes that are involved. And that is a scary thought..
to have people in charge that don’t have a clue but only a whim.
