"What is the strategic US interest in Yemen? To prevent one raghead from deposing a different raghead?"

Location, location, location, it is prime real estate straight on one side and lots of ports

We should have taken over Saudi Arabia and all their oil after they and OBL attacked us on 9-11-01. Instead America sacrificed many lives and trillons in Iraq and got nothing in return thanks to lying neocons.

Most Americans forgot that OPEC and Saudis put America financially under water with massive inflation after the great energy squeeze in the late 60s and 70s. America thanks to the Fed and inflation were required to go 2 earner families where kids suffered. Our country has never been the same.

Well we can learn from hindsight but it’s useless when that waters already gone over the dam.

Well I don’t think anyone wants war on Irans soil any time soon. And the American people sure don’t want another war front opened while we’ve got the issue at the border.

no one wants war. When you are under a very real threat you have moral obligation to eliminate that threat.

I will not forget the 34 US servicemen killed + many more wounded on USS Liberty in 67, and the 220 + Marines and other servicemen killed in Oct 83 in Beirut. A neighbor was a Marine attache at the time. We should have left the ME and never returned. We never know who operates for or against us in that region.

Let the locals who have fought each other forever continue to wage their wars. It was never our fight just as Yemen is not our fight. MAGA now instead of dying for others should be our foreign policy.

WE aint leaving any time soon. As long as the total number of muslems on the planet is dropping in the most efficient way possible, there will be plenty Saudi’s to nuke later.

Indeed, we do. If it was official, I’d join it in a heartbeat and never vote Republican again.

... and, by the way they’ve treated our President, they fully deserve to be abandoned.
