“Thats 100k a month they _catch_ and/or admit to. How many walk in and are never counted”?
I think 2 or 3 get through for every “catch”. I may be wrong but more get through than are caught.
I dont recall where I read it, but I think it used to be 7-10 or more. Now that they turn themselves in, probably less.
My theory is to use FedGov public number theory.
When they pitch a project, it ALWAYS actually costs three to four times as much. And this is literally “body count math” which is well known from Vietnam.
I rest assured that if FedZilla admits to 100k a month, it’s probably 300k.
Also a statistical thing kicks in. It’s “100,000 in March”. Not “108,672 in March’. Perfect round numbers tell me that they aren’t actually counting.
