Years ago I designed a new shopping center and it respective landscaping. While meeting with the local architectural review board for approval, I thought for sure they would reject my building because it was very new hi-tech ,however, the board loved the building but rejected the design because the landscaping plan was “too French “. When I asked what does that mean, they did not have a explanation for too French.

Over the following year, I redesigned, met with council members 50 times to no avail. My client became so upset that he shut the project down.

To this day. I’ve never gotten a response to the “it’s too French” mantra.

Yes, the board was in a libtard city and controlled by libtards.

Epilogue: we moved the project 20 miles down the road to a less libtard city.
