I wonder how long until all "San" names will be illegal.
It is a joy reading the posts on this old thread. Witnessing to the work of the Holy Spirit is the foundation of the Christian life.
There have been many times when the Lord has worked His Will in my life. When I was at the peak of achievement he suddenly, unexpectedly took it all away, ministry, family, home, income, respect...everything. There was no big terrible thing I did, it just all fell apart. Those I depended upon the most became my worse enemies. I was left with...the Lord.
I remember a song I created. The words were simply “Thank you Lord.” He was all I had and he did not desert me. Gradually, slowly, my life was turned around. I went from a very liberal to a traditional conservative world view. Ego, pride, acclaim, all these things lost their driving force. I became His again, after years of trying to do it my way.
