I tutor kids 1:1. One of my third graders asked me, last week - ‘A boy in my class doesn’t have a mom; he has two dads.’ It was obvious she was confused. I said, “Everybody has a mother, Gxx. That’s how new humans are made. Timmy’s Dad’s friend lives there. He might think he’s his mom, but he is not, is he?” “No” - she knew. The kids know. It doesn’t make sense. And they hate pretending.
Speaking the truth is very freeing to all concerned.

Heh. My husband just told an interesting little vignette yesterday.
He has a co-worker in some department who has likewise declared preferred pronouns.
But guess why? He’s a foreigner with unclear name implications, naturally.
This man (yes) can kill 2 birds with one stone. He can make sure people know on the telephone that he’s a man, AND get brownie points from the PC police for declaring himself.
When you are nefarious and violent Leftist Authoritarian who wants ALL the power and control over a people, and you cannot win arguments in reality, you MUST resort to fantasy and convince the people that it is a “new reality” in order to assume desired control.

When will the Supreme Court rule against Newspeak? In California, it’s illegal to call a transgender his genetic pronoun. I think it’s only for people who work in nursing homes, and I’d think an employer can have rules about that.
