Although, to be fair, if I somehow ended up a Congressman I would likewise blow the rest of them off. Our founders created a great system but these political parties and entrenched pols have been able to corrupt the whole thing. So while I think AOC is a total idiot, and I would debate her any time any where on any topic, I admire her tenacity. And, I think she’s kinda sexy.

Actually there is an old con called the “rainmaker”. The conman convinces his mark to hand over his money on the promise that it will come back to him 10-fold. If there is no rain, the conman makes excuses and delays. If the mark actually does land some kind of windfall, the conman claims credit.
