OK, I guess they've got us.

Gotta just roll over and surrender our Nation - can't have avocados costing too much.

Oddly, cocaine and illicit drug prices won’t escalate....they will continue to flow across the border.

People in the US are not going to suffer if they can't get fresh avocados.

Mexican growers, on the other hand, are going to be stuck with a lot of rotting unsold fruit.

I suggest an avocado party.

We can meet in DC and chuck them into the Potomac.

Oh Noes!
We will have to import more expensive avocadoes from countries other than Mexico!

1) Where I live, fresh avocados are already expensive.

2) They have a shelf life.

So: We can not be able to afford them and they will rot.

We lose out eating fresh avocados for some period of time.

Producers and brokers are forced to sell tons to processors to avoid a complete loss of crop or they, too, watch them rot. There will be a glut of frozen avocado for some period of time. That price will decline.

There will be guac, it will just be made from frozen avocado.

Who loses most?

I see that “The Sky Is Falling” department is out in full swing, again.

Woe is me! What will life be like with no avocados?

Hmm. Yeah. Lemme see...

1. The rape and murder of our citizens and eventual loss of our country.

vs.

2. Higher prices for some thing I wouldn’t eat if you paid me.

Tough choice, there.

“There goes the guacamole vote.”

Whatever will Jeb! do now? All those leftover guacamole bowls and nothing to put in them.

Please clap.

A country should always make monumental decision like saving the nation from economic and political ruin based on the cost of avocados. /SARC

Didn’t George Burns make a comment about avocadoes in “Oh God”? Believe it was one of the things He thought that He could have done better or avoided altogether (along with giraffes).

“Mexican growers, on the other hand, are going to be stuck with a lot of rotting unsold fruit. “

They’ll either sell it to the caravans marching northward or try to sell it in Venezuela.
