Mongrel Mob leader Sonny Fatu is making it clear his gang will not be surrendering their guns as mandated by the New Zealand government.
On March 20, 2019, Breitbart News reported New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern’s announcement that “military-style” semiautomatic rifles, “high-capacity” magazines, and certain gun parts were being banned. While making the announcement, Ardern encouraged New Zealand gun owners to go ahead and hand over their firearms.
Mongrel Mob leader Fatu told Stuff, “Will gangs get rid of their weapons? No. Because of who we are, we can’t guarantee our own safety.”

Logical. No one with an ounce of sense would voluntarily surrender their guns (means of protection) when there are crazy people running around killing innocent civilians.

Seems the only way for citizens to guarantee their own safety is to retain their arms as well.

I suppose this was a sort of warm up for some similar event in the USA, the next full court press by the left to disarm us.
I guess New Zealand is some weird sort of democratic-dictatorship with the PM can just tell people what the new laws are without any debate or actual passage of new laws, not to mention anything constraining her like a Constitution or Bill of Rights.
America isn't perfect, but it's a damn site better than the countries that our cousins set up.

Sounds like this New Zealand citizen and member of an outlaw motorcycle club knows the police are hours away and will not protect them if some other outlaw club comes along with bad motives in mind.
Now that I think about it; this is shared by all citizens everywhere regardless of what group or no groups they may belong to. Actually I didn’t really have to think about this; it’s just common sense. Something vile gun-grabbers lack.

IIRC, the Mongrels only accept members that have done Federal time.
