This virus of victimology is becoming quite the thing for what we used to call the historic virtue of “Western Civilization”. The intellectual wimps of modern academia, abhorring the bedrocks of Judeo-Christian morality and Greco-Roman philosophy, have deemed multiculturalism as its substitute, thus equating Ba’al infant sacrifice with the equally attractive blood trails down the Aztec pyramids!

What happened just 39 years before, when the Byzantine Empire (Constantinople) fell to the Muslims?
The Hagia Sophia, built in 537 AD as the largest Catholic Cathedral in existence, and later an Eastern Orthodox Cathedral, was turned into a mosque, invading Muslims.
Constantinople was conquered by the Ottoman Empire on 29 May 1453. The Ottomans were commanded by 22-year-old Ottoman Sultan Mehmed II. The conquest of Constantinople followed a seven-week siege which had begun on 6 April 1453.
It wasn’t until 1931 that the cathedral ceased to be a mosque and became a museum, not a church, but a museum.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan now wants to reconvert it to a mosque.
Once Constantinople was conquered the Muslims choked trade from the East and imposed high taxes and tariffs on trade. Europe looked west for another way to China and India, and as a result Christianity and Western Civilization was spread westward and became us.
