I know postings like this will attract a lot of deriders (what do they risk by the post?) but I fully agree with.
OK, since you are mentioning the Appalacians, please show how the flood accreted island arcs against North America. And how the flood generated the three orogenies that formed the range. And the deposition of the Catskill delta between the second and third orogenies.

Somewhat plausible theory includes the earth stopping rotation, then resuming in the opposite direction in less than a day, as part of a magnetic field switch.
This would explain the now underwater canyons off the east coast and elsewhere. 99% of humans would perish. Survivors would record the next Bible.
