Rove’s goal is to divert attention from the Bushes and RNC Never Trump crowd. I suspect he knows that release of declassified docs and a deep dive into the Mueller investigation will suck many RINOs into the maelstrom. We're laughing, but I'd be surprised if he didn't participate in or wasn't aware of the GOP generated oppo research that happened early on.
I’m being completely honest, as I have no trust in Rove. The Bushbots hate Trump with a passion, and I think their fingerprints are all over this mess.
