Its always been about the bucks. CNN and MSNBC realized very early on that there was a large lucrative market broadcasting Trump hatred, the Russian collusion hoax and embracing everything “progressive”. There are 2-3 million lunatic people out there who ill avidly follow and believe. Enough of an audience to generate decent ratings and big bucks. They of course will take a mild hit with the collusion hoax collapsing but they know their audience and will test market and pound new bizarre narratives. They are the broadcast equivalents of the National Enquirer. But then again the National Enquired has a better track record and is in copmarison more truthful.
Not sure. I think they will take any ratings as long as the “left” underwrites them. CNN is still in all airports and is one of the main overseas outlets for most countries.
