When money changes hands in this fashion - where the money comes before the admission, if you don’t think there was a quid pro quo, you’re a very trusting person. Blacks score fairly low on IQ and SAT tests. Showbiz people also score pretty low*, which is why so many of the students involved needed an assist - dumb parents (an apple doesn’t fall far from the tree). Given that Dr. Dre was both black *and* a showbiz person ...

* It’s not some kind of anomaly when showbiz people issue remarks that seem really stupid - in many or perhaps even most cases, a skilled tradesman is smarter than they are. They’re not so much radical as they are dumb (i.e. there are certain concepts they will never be able to figure out, no matter how many hours you spend teaching it to them).
