That makes gun confiscation almost useless except for Albuquerque

Is the New Mexican Republican Party dead? I hope someone with brains will run who will help our President Trump.

Udall out in NM. Unfortunately, we lack for a farm team here that is a natural choice to run.

Steve Pearce is fresh off a Gubernatorial run, he is now the NM GOP Chairman. But age is an issue. He’ll be 73 in 2020.

Ex-Gov. Susana Martinez left office with a high disapproval rating, which partly accounted for why she didn’t run for the Senate last year.

Ex-Lt. Gov. Raymond Sanchez passed on running for the Senate last year (or for Governor). He may lack the fire in the belly to run again.

Gary Johnson is toxic and unviable.

One potential individual I’ve watched is former State Rep. Sharon Clahchischilliage, a Navajo. She represented the Navajo area in the Four Corners region and won 3 terms in the House from a Dem-leaning district (sadly, lost narrowly in the GOP wipeout in the state last November). She ran a respectable race for Sec of State back in 2002 when she was an unknown. If she were to win, she’d be the first Native American Senator. Whether she could be persuaded to run is another story.

Perhaps recruiting a wealthy outsider is another alternative. It will be difficult, but not impossible to take back Pete Domenici’s old seat.

The radical left has taken over NM, and I think they’ve bitten off more than they can chew, and the GOP should recruit a strong team of candidates from top to bottom to take on and put a stop to the Communist Governor and other moonbats in the legislature.

Is the New Mexican Republican Party dead?

Do you mean the GOP in New Mexico, or the one in Washington that insists on bringing a new Mexican into the country every fifteen seconds?

former State Rep. Sharon Clahchischilliage

Unless she has to run a write-in campaign...

Yeah, John Kasich is without a doubt a graduate of the Lizzy Bordon school of charm.

The New Mexico GOP isn’t dead, it’s just pining for the arroyos.

“....she’d be the first Native American Senator..”

I think Ben Lighthorse Campbell was he first.

Excuse me, first woman Native American Senator. Actually, Campbell was the second. GOP KS Senator and Vice-President Charles Curtis was supposedly the first.

The NM Republican party should ask George Allen to move to NM to run for Senate.

I Think George Allen could fit right in there in NM. He got in trouble in collage for shooting squirrels on campus and eating them in his room.

My guess is that Udall can’t deal with their sharp left turn.

Bovine excrement, he's a senior member of the rabid barking moonbats. I just think he's tired of the political world; he's been a member of the enviro-nutter left since the early 1980's when I was in state government and before I learned that for the enviro-nuts there is never enough environmental regulation. It's a cult religion for them and unfortunately for the rest of us in the state they are now in charge and want to eliminate all economical sources of power and replace them with solar panels that cover square miles of acreage or windmills that slice and dice any bird that comes near them.
