General Flynn is taking one for American Justice. By the very act of him being in the court, he has standing and a right for discovery. We will find out when this is all over, that there was a counter-intelligence op going on, and it was being run by those the General had put into place when he was in charge. Most of Trump’s early advisors had no experience in DC swamp or the intelligence world. Flynn had been in intelligence all his career in the military. He was sure to pick up on the lawlessness, especially since the head of the NSA was waiting on the inauguration to reveal all to the new President. So by attacking Flynn first, they got rid of him as a power player and effectively gagged him.
