America is currently in a global competition with China to see which country will lead in the global deployment of 5G. Currently, China is winning. This may be the most important challenge we currently face for protecting our national security, economy, and quality of life.

However, there are also risks. If the global system that is built isnt fully secure, the data that flows through the system will be up for grabs. Bad actors (including other governments) will be able to know who you call, whats in your bank account, whats in your health records, and where you physically are at all times. Additionally, its important that we fully explore and understand the potential impact the 5G millimeter waves could have on our health.
Does Newt discuss potential risks of 5G to our health?
Potential impact the 5G millimeter waves could have on our health.
This is an unknown. 5G could kill us.
Don’t we have to create it first so they can copy it?
My oldest had 5 G in S Korea a few years ago.. so it sounds like a race to something we may not fully understand. Ie a power and control grab.
With regard to 5 G in America, How can we trust a 5G system that is rolled out and controlled by AT&T who also owns and controls the traitorous CNN?
Until AT&T destroys CNN and throws it on the trash heap, AT&T can not be trusted with the 5 G network
I understand the impact, and the concerns about health risks, but I also find it ironic that while the world keeps moving toward better and better information technology, people are becoming less and less knowledgeable.
If the global system that is built isnt fully secure,...
Which is pretty much impossible. Someone, somewhere, will figure out a way to hack it.

“Bad actors (including other governments) will be able to know who you call, whats in your bank account, whats in your health records, and where you physically are at all times”
As if that’s not happening now?
All PRC 5G hardware should be ILLEGAL to import, maybe even illegal to possess.
I’m glad Newt got his fat a$s off the Pelosi couch and is doing some good work, again.
The US should jump to 6G. A total US system, secure, private, etc., etc. Don’t use any foreign components.
“My oldest had 5 G in S Korea a few years ago’”
Samsung just released the worlds first 5G phone THIS month.
whats in your bank account...
Boy would they be disappointed :)
All of what you say is true. Another FReeper explained the difference between 4G and 5G and said pretty much what you did.
I had no idea of the scope of change and to be honest didn’t really know what the hell 4G was until that FRiend explained it to me.
I think many are like me and just don’t know.
That’s because online the explanations are written terribly.
It take a regular Joe to explain it to regular Joes.
This is the topic Newt chose to bring up today?
Raise your hand if you trust our alphabet agencies to take the high road and not use 5G to monitor and manipulate American citizens...
To those who raised their hands....I have a bridge in Brooklyn to sell you!
Put me down as unmutual.
I’m uninterested in your tweets, your Facebook, what you ate or any of that.
And I will drive my own car, use cash as well as not use the cloud.
You mean PRC 5G espionage hardware? Because that’s what it will come with. As well a kill switches the ChiComs control.
Not that I trust our own government....
* The Chicoms have a Breeder Reactor about to come on line.
* They are in the lead for Li-Ion as a Battery Manufacturer in terms of volume.
* And AI.
Thank every Potus and globalist W-Street Toadie types si ce Reaga that sold there souls on the alter of comparative advantage...
With 5G:
—With Chinese equipment the Chinese spy on us
—With American equipment America’s power-crazed .gov agencies’ sociopaths spy on us
—Perhaps some artificial intelligence will take over and spy on us (and decide we humans are inferior and need to be “dealt with”).
Is technology great or what? :-(
