The rare wisdom of our president is a gift: Temperance crossed with almost outlandish boldness
American Thinker ^ | 03/23/2019 | Don Sucher

Politicians are used to seeing cowardice and being cowards. So used to it are they that they cannot even imagine there being another way.

Our president has proven to be quite different. He is fearless. He is bold. He acts. He accomplishes. (What he would be accomplishing if those in his party had the courage to support him is hard to conceive.) If one takes a moment to look at his brilliance, it is a truly rare and beautiful thing.

First off, the attacks were made to wear him down and wear him out. To make him sue (and compromise) for peace. He did not.

Two, they thought they could make him overreact, go beyond his jurisdiction. He did not do that, either.

Three, when attacks on him directly failed, they went after his family. The media in the end were saying his children were going to be indicted. He did not wince. (Neither did they.)

And what is even more an indicator of genius is that often the very thing that drove his enemies mad — and made it obvious to onlookers that they were mad (and thus not be believed) was seen by his supporters in a positive light. His good humor, for instance.

This is a rare form of leadership — temperance crossed with almost outlandish boldness. (How often can those two words describe the same man at the very same time?) Thank God, it is rarely needed.

That the "wise" cannot see this is to be expected. They worship what they themselves are: wordy, hapless, false, and ineffective.

Our president is none of these things. He is truly something else. Something rare. Something wonderful.

To think this nation received such a leader at this critical time by mere chance is to this writer unimaginable.

You really DO have to admire Trump. A mere mortal would have been never been able to withstand the onslaught he has endured. You picture someone like Jeb Bush curling up into a fetal position and trying to apologize to the Liberal Media for the “crime” of existing. And then you have people like Paul Ryan and Mitt Romney who try to throw up roadblocks in a passive-aggressive manner.

As Rush has said on a few occasions: Trump is the Indispensable man.

Exactly. Trump is the right man at the right time. If only the cowardly GOP would line up with him, so much more could be accomplished.

The clear conscience that comes with innocence has a great calming effect. That's why Trump and his family are so calm, and why Democrats are so adjitated.

When you shoot at the king, you can't afford to miss. Trump's enemies exhausted their arsenal to make him buckle but when the dust settled he was still standing. Unless they're idiots, they must know they have sown the wind and, now that the charge of obstruction is off the table, they are about to reap the whirlwind. Over the last three years we've come to learn that integral to his character is that when he gets hit, he hits back twice as hard.

The left knows that there's only one viable arrow left in their quiver: assassination.

I think the Donald’s best attribute is his animal cunning. He is always out maneuvering and checkmating his enemies. It’s really quite amazing how many of his most out spoken critics have destroyed themselves.

McCain is the best example. He developed a terminal brain tumor and died.

The shameful persecution, not “prosecution,” of Gen, Flynn and others by the FBI & DOJ should not go unpunished. We know how it was done by listening to Jerome Corsi’s account of how they put the screws to him to get him to plead guilty to a false charge.

Mueller’s team of reputation assassins needed a body count of guilty pleas to give legitimacy to their attempted coup. Note all the references to the 32 guilty pleas, 26 of them bogus Russians, that were repeated by Democrats in every interview. God bless Mrs Corsi for being steadfast in the face of evil.

In the early years of Rush Limbaugh, I remember callers repeatedly asking Rush to run for office. Trump isn’t as conservative as Rush, but when it comes to fighting back, it’s as if Rush were in office. Love it.

One if the best days of my life was the day I voted for PDJT and I’m totally proud of having supported him throughout the primaries. Indeed, I sort of thought then, and am absolutely convinced now, that if I had a magic button to press in 2016 and automatically elect anyone in the world, myself included, as US President, I’d have pressed the button for MY PRESIDENT, Donald John Trump. The same is ABDOLUTELY TRUE FOR 2020.

“McCain is the best example. He developed a terminal brain tumor and died.”

God took him and sent him to join Teddy Kennedy. May they continue to roast where they are.

He is unusual and he is also term limited. This is how term limits actually work in an age when the left owns the media. What is the plan? Get Trump re-elected and enact the entire conservative agenda during his second term? OK maybe, but then what? Watch the Rino replacement give it all away?
