I mean, sure, surplus bread at the supermarket swiftly clears from the shelf when offered at half off, sure —like magic.
But NO WAY do we want to pay more than $10/hr to get those new applicants to appear at our door.
I mean, that would be doing something DIFFERENT. And we couldn’t do that. I mean....it would be DIFFERENT.
No matter the drugery or danger, behold the way the dusky, energetic applicants crowd our door. Even if they can’t speak English, yes.
Gosh, I wonder why.
