IGNORE THE BASTARD. If he doesn’t shut up, send Federal Marshalls to arrest him and send him to Guantanamo.

Craziness. But this is what many want each for their own reasons. They want protectionism from competition by shutting out new production. They want to profit by selling carbon credits, giving credits to existing entities and forcing start-ups to pay more. Some are neo-luddites without knowing it, as the ramifications of their wish list will turn back the last 100 years of progress. Some want to see the USA punished for its success.

Science requires scientific methods and scientific rigor. There is no way to test the hypothesis that humans are causing a rise in greenhouse gases, that it will result in higher temperatures, or that higher temperatures will be calamatous to earth. There is evidence that higher humidity (water vapor is a greenhouse gas) will enable plant life to thrive.

The demagogues talk about rising oceans, floods, rains, hurricanes, melting ice caps you name it. What they omit is that the earth has always experienced such calamities. My favorite example is the Mediterranean sea. A long time ago it was very small. For some reason the basin flooded to make it the size it is now. Then during the Bronze age, some type of calamity hit and there were droughts, food shortages in the entire area from Italy around the Med all the way to Egypt.
This of course led to wars, mass migration and desolation. No human endeavor was the cause. The people who talk today about doom in a decade are modern day false prophets worshiping the gods of shoddy science and manipulated data.

The decision stems from an environmental lawsuit. WildEarth Guardians, Physicians for Social Responsibility, and the Western Environmental Law Center sued the BLM in 2016 for failing to calculate and limit the amount of greenhouse gas emissions from future oil and gas projects....

...

Barry O was tragically president in 2016.

The rag doesn’t report the name of the judge.

Gee, I wonder why?

Another example of a judge taking the law into his own hands. Has happened with immigration decisions by the Administration, foreign policy and now we have US energy independence and the lives and income of thousands of workers threatened by the unilateral actions of some unelected left wing kook wearing judicial robes thinking he is lord and master of the rest of us.

Unless we take this country back from the black robed tyrants, they are going to bring it to its knees and then set it up for collapse.

This is new. A federal judge using superstition as legal precedent? What idiot appointed this idiot to the bench?

Climate change. Good grief, if you check the weather forecast several times a day, they’re always changing it. People who can’t tell me from one day to the next what the temperature is going to be are going to tell me the world is ending because they know the temperature in 30 years? What a crock.

Is there a law which requires that climate change be taken into account?

Or is the judge just making it up as he goes along?
