I think Trump’s learning curve about ugly DC was steep.

DC will continue to stay ugly and vindictive. The latest example is Rod Rosenstein somehow managing to extend his stay at DOJ. His initial departure date has apparently been overtaken by events. He needs more time to subvert the Trump presidency.
Does Trump have authority to fire him?
He does, right?
I know politics are involved as the press would jump all over him.
But they do anyway so...
