What passes for “journalism” in the US is about the same standard as for the old Pravda in the Soviet Union; print what damages those you disagree with, hide that which hurts those you support. This isn’t new, goes back to the “press” hiding information about JFK’s dalliances and not giving a damn about LBJ’s history of corruption and odd connections to at least eight murders.
It will be interesting if any journalism schools are involved in the admissions scams. Just look at the low quality of journalist. Look at the writing that appears and is read here.
