Where are the internet lawyers citing case law that said Dicks was on solid ground with this policy? I said the day they announced this they would be sued and would lose. They settled because they know they were toast if they didn’t. They lost, and they will lose again if they don’t change the policy or get out of the gun business. There will be 18 year olds and their lawyers lined up to buy guns at Dicks, lol.
wedding cakes is not the same issue. the baker did not sell gay wedding cakes but the gays wanted to force them to be in the gay wedding cake biz. dicks IS in the firearms business but refusing to sell to some customers based on age. Cant do that.
I’m thinking 40 is a better age to legally vote. Life’s realities have settled in and the majority of people actually think before they act.

It's weird because if the age discrimination was the inverse, like if a store cited Stephen Paddock to say "no gun sales to anyone over age 50," this wouldn't even be up for debate as being against the law.
There are now several bills in the Oregon legislature to allow gun dealers to restrict sales to “21 and over’.

Yes, but that isn’t the law now, plus Dick’s and Walmart operate in more states than Oregon.
