This snippet points to the root of the broiling civil hostility we find ourselves in.
The fake news, the insane hostility, the extreme polarization, the social media censors, etc. All stem from this relatively new group on the American political stage, the LGBTQ members.
In terms of pure logic, the latter is worse because Joe is guilty of not only being a coward but also being a supporter of that moral error.
At least Cynthia Nixon isn't behaving like a coward in this situation.
Smiling Joe, the camera lover, has never been a man of character. He was just a man of a generation in which character was still thought to be an admirable quality.
The left has always been intolerant of any dissent or contrary opinion, to the point of torturing and murdering millions who dare to oppose them. The American left now feels emboldened to display its intolerance. That it is so open about it now is one of Obama's legacies, perhaps his most significant one.
