Who’s going to stop 16 year olds from voting anyways? Dead people and illegals get to vote, why not teens! Heck, if they make it 10 feet out of the birth canal sign em up! Plants and animals too!
You make a valid point....there’s nothing to hinder or stop a 16-year-old kid from fake-registering. You could go out across California today and probably find fifty kids under the age of 18 who are registered to vote. Since no ID is often accepted, it’s a legitimate path.
But if you treat a 16-year-old kid as an adult, why not sell them cigarettes and beer as well?
