Here's What Lisa Page Had to Say About That FBI 'Insurance Policy'
Townhall.com ^ | March 13, 2019 | Katie Pavlich

Posted on 03/13/2019 10:15:03 AM PDT by Kaslin

Former FBI attorney Lisa Page, who conspired with fired FBI agent Peter Strzok to stop Donald Trump if he won the presidency, testified in front of a closed door session on Capitol Hill last year. Now her testimony has been released, showing the extent to which the duo was willing to go with their efforts. It reveals the "insurance policy" discussed in text messages was likely Robert Mueller's Special Counsel investigation.

"If he is not elected, then, to the extent that the Russians were colluding with members of his team, we're still going to investigate that even without him being President, because any time the Russians do anything with a U.S. person, we care, and it's very serious to us," Page said about her thinking under questioning from former Congressman Trey Gowdy. "But if he becomes President, that totally changes the game because now he is President of the United States. He's going to immediately start receiving classified briefings. He's going to be exposed to the most sensitive secrets imaginable. And if there is somebody on his team who wittingly or unwittingly is working with the Russians, that is super serious."

Text messages found between Page and Strzok, with whom she was having an affair, discuss a meeting in fired Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe's office to go over an "insurance policy." A number of other messages showed Strzok and Page repeatedly slamming Trump and his supporters while favoring the election of Hillary Clinton.

Further, her testimony reveals there was no evidence of collusion at the time the Special Counsel investigation was launched in May 2017. Nearly two years later, there is still no evidence.

The newly released transcripts of my interview with Lisa Page indicate that Peter Strzok had no evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia prior to the launch of the FBI and special counsel investigations into the matter. pic.twitter.com/Mt8SChdocI— John Ratcliffe (@RepRatcliffe) March 13, 2019

As a reminder, the Department of Justice Inspector General found the anti-Trump messages exchanged between Page and Strzok to be deeply troubling. From a report released in August 2018:

"During the course of the review, the OIG discovered text messages and instant messages between some FBI employees on the investigative team, conducted using FBI mobile devices and computers, that expressed statements of hostility toward then candidate Donald Trump and statements of support for then candidate Clinton," the report states. "We were deeply troubled by text messages exchanged between Strzok and Page that potentially indicated or created the appearance that investigative decisions were impacted by bias or improper considerations."

"Most of the text messages raising such questions pertained to the Russia investigation, which was not a part of this review. Nonetheless, when one senior FBI official, Strzok, who was helping to lead the Russia investigation at the time, conveys in a text message to another senior FBI official, Page, 'No. No he won’t. We’ll stop it' in response to her question '[Trump’s] not ever going to become president, right? Right?!', it is not only indicative of a biased state of mind but, even more seriously, implies a willingness to take official action to impact the presidential candidate’s electoral prospects. This is antithetical to the core values of the FBI and the Department of Justice," the report continues.

NO OTHER PERSON COULD ENDURE THE AMOUNT OF INVESTIGATIVE SCRUTINY PRESIDENT TRUMP HAS ENDURED!!!

The thing that amazes me about it is that he worked in real estate in New York and New Jersey, yet he is apparently completely clean. Frankly I consider that to be astounding.

FBI’s Lisa Page to Peter Strzok: ‘I Truly Hate’ Pro-Lifers
Strzok to Page: “F*cking marchers making traffic problems.”

BREITBART.COM Text messages released this week between disgraced FBI attorney Lisa Page and agent Peter Strzok, show Page saying, “I truly hate” pro-lifers and the two discussing shutting down the 2016 March for Life on the national mall.

‘I truly hate these people’: Disgraced FBI agents trashed pro-lifers, wanted to stop March for Life FBI agent Strzok said authorities should lie about a 'snow emergency' so as to 'cancel the permit' for the March for Life.

As LifeSiteNews reports, a transcript of the conversation on January 22, 2016 – the day of the March for Life – reveals the conversation between the two:

Strzok: “F*cking marchers making traffic problems.”

Page: “Yeah, some extremely offensive video screens set up in front of district. I truly hate these people. No support for the woman who actually has to spend the rest of her life rearing this child, but we care about ‘life.’ Assholes.”

Strzok: “And literally I’m the last car thru 4 lights as they shut down Pennsylvania Ave. Hey, I have an idea! Snow emergency, cancel the permit.”

Page and Strzok – both married to other people – were reportedly carrying on an affair.

“It’s not surprising that these people would hate pro-lifers so much that they would want to abuse their authority to cancel the March for Life,” Operation Rescue President Tony Newman told LifeSiteNews. “Given their extreme political bias against those who hold pro-life views, one can only expect them to stoop to criminal conduct.”

As Breitbart News reported, Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) said the latest batch of text messages between Page and Strzok, who were involved in the investigations into allegations President Donald Trump aided Russian “collusion” in his election and Hillary Clinton’s email scandal, reveal FBI views of Trump were more than just biased, they actually show “animus” toward the president.

==================================

Trump has been hailed by national pro-life leaders as “the most pro-life president in modern history.” While on the campaign trail in 2016, Trump promised his pro-life base he would fulfill four promises: Nominating pro-life justices to the U.S. Supreme Court Signing into law the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, which would end painful late-term abortions nationwide Defunding Planned Parenthood as long as they continue to perform abortions and reallocating their funding to community health centers that provide comprehensive health care for women Making the Hyde Amendment permanent law to protect taxpayers from having to pay for abortions

Father Frank Pavone, national director of Priests for Life, a member of Pres Trump’s Catholic Advisory Group, told Breitbart News the president’s team has followed through with its promise that Trump “would do everything that past pro-life presidents have done, ‘and more,’” and is on course to “put America back on the solid foundation of her founding principles.”

These are the same people who go out and protest executions of heinous murderers where OTOH demand the death of the innocents - and within nine months or if they survive the abortion attempt.

Thank you for that.

[ Page and Strzok – both married to other people – were reportedly carrying on an affair. ]

One may surmise there’s a reason why they hated a pro-life march. It’s probably not hard to guess why.

But then, HIPAA would protect that information.

And Congress now has known this for a YEAR, and not done a single, damned thing about it. Why is that?

Uh, make that officially two almost 3 years now. 4 if you count the original rumor mill and the 2015 fall start up.

Because everyone in Leadership on BOTH sides of the ISLE in BOTH houses knew about it AS it was happening.

Most if not All wanted Trump to lose or be removed! The Gang of 8 were being fed this crap from Brennan and John McLoser's aide before Steele started leaking to the press. Which we will read about tomorrow when his Deposition is publicly released.

Yes, someone on a president's team who has been compromised by the Russians would be a matter of concern. And the very first thing a legitimate counterintelligence or law enforcement agency would do is brief the president, reach a consensus on how to manage the investigation and safeguard information flows while the investigation is being completed.

I'm not an expert on these matters, but I've often wondered whether some of J. Edgar Hoover's tactics might have been explained by his suspicion that his chain of command was compromised. We know that the Roosevelt administration was compromised at very high levels. Truman was a strong anti-communist but there were Russian agents seeded across the government by the time he took over. Cleaning up the internal security mess -- that's assuming it was cleaned up, more or less -- was a long, messy process. And then there were the undercover communists and fellow travelers on Capitol Hill, both Members and staff. It's a fascinating story. The truth may never come out.

From the testimony:

And if there is somebody on his team who wittingly or unwittingly is working with the Russians, that is super serious."

It is a shame that this standard was not applied to Democrats such as FDR, Ted Kennedy, or a number of recent examples. All of eastern Europe was sold into Communist bondage by Soviet agents on FDR's staff appointed by him. True agents, not leaning that way, true agents according to Soviet records.

“Page: ‘Yeah, some extremely offensive video screens set up in front of district. I truly hate these people. No support for the woman who actually has to spend the rest of her life rearing this child, but we care about ‘life.’ Assholes.’”

That truly puts her at the head of the pack of the current crop of disgusting Socialist Democrat Party Member Women! And she has a LOT of company these days.

I hope she knows how hated she is, personally. I hope she gets it and GOOD one of these days. And I’m curious as to why she never aborted her own children? Aren’t they a BURDEN to her?

You gotta admit it was a pretty nice trick. Problem is, once revealed it's hard to go back to the old playbook.

The DS key strength was gullibility and naivete of their intended targets who never suspected such levels of corruption. But this trust was dependent on generations of citizens who believed the government, in some form or fashion no matter how inefficient, actually represented their interests.

Even a savvy operator like Trump got cold-cocked. Who would suspect that some of the highest, most accomplished officials in the land, who took oaths of office, would directly conspire against the people and seek to overturn an election?

It's been a few years now, so most of us have become sufficiently enured to the effect. But who can forget the sheer incredulity the Session recusal, Ratstein ascension and Mueller appointment elicited as the dawning awareness that they were all by design. That the attempted coup was premeditated and intentionally set into motion knowing full well the effect?

The only open question at this point is when do they hang. If they don't, the US is over - probably is already - and once the Don is gone, we'll quickly resume our acceleration over the edge.

"...willingness to take official action to impact the presidential candidate’s electoral prospects..."

based on....(and this is the criminal part)

1. KNOWINGLY false evidence.

2. ILLEGAL campaign spying effort.

3. RELYING on "foreign intelligence' without official U.S. intelligence agencies confirming foreign disinformation to affect a U.S. Presidential election.
