It’s not just airplanes. Automobiles have so many overpriced features on them that new cars cost twice as much as my first home and people are financing them for 6-10 years and many can’t afford to repair them.

Exactly. Purposely bought a previous model year Toyota which lacked all the current model year’s “anti-crash protection”.

The camera bonded to the windshield more than quadruples the price of replacing the glass, even if you re-use the camera.

No thanks.

Try programming some alarm clocks at various hotels. I just want to set the correct time for current and wake up time. Some of these damn clocks have so many unwanted features I have to spend time just figuring it out.
Worse is when the damn alarm doesn’t go off. I’m all for the KISS principle.
