That Manafort was in jail is on him. He meesed up being on house arrest. Solitary was probably safer than the general population in a county jail. Frankly if i were being held awaiting trial, i would want held as Manafort was.

I’m happy to see AOC remain speaker for the party. I feared she’d be cast aside as irrelevant with the Green New Deal. She’s on her way to making the dems irrelevant.
Was a pretty good line. However, would you want held in county jail in general population? I wouldn’t. While I know it motivates the base by using solitary as a wedge, he probably was safer and better off in solitary.
I’ve been to our county jail a few times on business over the past two years, and while solitary is no walk in the park it no longer what’s depicted in Shawshenk.
