This is asinine. Amazon isn’t a public entity. It can choose to sell or not sell whatever the hell it wants.
Get over it.
RE: Amazon isnt a public entity. It can choose to sell or not sell whatever the hell it wants.
I don’t think the author of this article is questioning Amazon’s “right” to sell or not sell what the hell it wants.
He is questioning the WISDOM of their decision.
Like Christian bakeries?
Yup - blubbering about censorship and Nazis is an anti-conservative response.
It's very easy for monopolies to merge with government. Don't get over that one.
The point is about fairness.
Amazon is a marketplace.
It should be fair
“This is asinine. Amazon isnt a public entity. It can choose to sell or not sell whatever the hell it wants.”
So Amazon being “not a public entity” is exempt from public analysis, criticism and denunciation of it’s practices.
Got it.
Tell that to any and all Christian bakers, who are not, by the bye, private entities profiting enormously off US Postal regulations on the taxpayers’ dime, and who are not refusing general service to anyone, but are refusing to publish (endorse) a specifc political message.
We have a Big Tech oligarchy that own our so-called representation, through legal donations and illegal bribes. We thus have... taxation without representation (where have I heard that before?).
This is not asinine, and I am not getting over it.
