What a coincidence, the case is dropped at the same time Lickenpooper announces his presidential run.
Had the case gone to trial he would have had the uncomfortable situation of being called to testify as a witness. He would have been revealed as a dishonest hack.
Nothing to see, move along.
I believe he did sue, and dropped his case in exchange for the Commission dropping their case.
I, for one, remember that incessant “We Just Want To Be Left Alone”, .
Homosexuality used to be known as the love that dare not speak its name. Now its the love that wont shut the **** up.

Good. The government abuses its power when it persecutes people for exercising their rights as guaranteed by the Constitution.
It does to reward the raging feminazis who give them money and votes.
The commission will claim some type of statutory immunity similar to prosecutorial immunity.
I do think they can and should be sued for millions and sued as individuals not protected by the state. This is no different than prosecutorial abuse a la Nifong (Duke Lacrosse case).
“Complete victory?
How many years of this mans life were wasted? How much did he spend in legal fees? Does he even still have a baking business? How many times was he threatened or harassed?”
A complete victory would be the SCOTUS writing an order disbanding the Commission as being at complete odds with the Constitution’s Establishment Clause.
He most likely won’t do it, but if it were me, I’d sue each and every one of them individually and personally.
Great!
Will this set a precedent for all such religious discrimination cases?
Can he sue the commission or its individual members to recoup some of what he lost?
I sure hope so. When I saw this I wondered if Kolorado is going to reimburse him.........
It all depends how its argued.

LOL.... Kinda like arguing with your spouse...
Take care and have a nice day.
LOL, Yep.
It is never about equality.
The Soviet Union, Communist China, and Nazi Germany suppressed and punished religions, largely eliminating or minimizing all of them. If the Democrats gain the necessary power, they will do the same. All of those Trump haters who left the Republican Party and voted for Democrats in 2018 should be mindful of all of this.
See post #33. Now, we all understand how it evolves to that point.
If Jack were a liberal, there would be a made-for-tv movie about this.
if the commission is still active, the ‘rhetoric’ comment can be hung around his neck. He’d be smart to fire them all.
I suppose that will be coming all too soon. But the Left-wing death squads will come first. (Have we heard from Seth Rich lately?)
Everybody will hate the results and it will take a decade or so to stop after it starts.
Maybe we should hold on to "rule-of-law" for as long as we can.
> But the Left-wing death squads will come first.
They already have.
> Maybe we should hold on to “rule-of-law” for as long as we can.
We did.
The commission itself should be abolished. It is simply a tool to harass groups disfavored by the Socialists(e.g. White Male Christians)
Abolition will require expelling enough Democrats from the Colorado Legislature to break their current majority position.
Perhaps that can be accomplished through elections. Perhaps other means will be necessary.
Incorrect. He did not refuse to bake or sell a cake, he refused to use his artistic talent to design a cake, which design disparaged his religious beliefs.
