There was a fat guy, looked a little mentally weak, this guy used to sit in the same seat up behind the box seats at Forbes Field in the 50's and 60's. He came to every game, sat a little hunched over with his trusty scorecard and a transistor radio near his ear. He knew all the stats. Loved the game.
We all called him Radio Bill ... a spittin' image of Mason Reese (before Mason Reese). He was there for batting practice and to the last out. He hardly ever moved even during a rain delays.
Maybe he was GoNadler's uncle Bill.
