No they are not really growing in number. Only compared to liberal Jews.Orthodox Jewish birth rate is 4.1 children per woman, versus 1.5 per secular Jewish woman, so Orthodox are indeed growing in number. Then again, a lot of Orthodox become non-Orthodox. A friend of mine was a secular Jew who was born in an Orthodox family.
