The Political Suicide Hotline: Ringing Nonstop
Am Thinker ^ | March 3, 2019 | Clarice Feldman

Posted on 03/03/2019 7:01:53 AM PST by upchuck

It is a mystery to me why so many politicians and pundits are suddenly committing career and party suicide. I suppose it’s because there has been a failure to recognize that they’ve been living in and promoting a fantasy world. In the meantime, the president has called their bluff, exposed the cant, and forced them into chaos and ruinous policies.

The failure of the Weekly Standard and the decline of the National Review have exposed the not-conservative Trump haters as unpragmatic, unrealistic snobs. They are now shaking the begging cup to keep from having to earn an honest living. In the face of the president’s rising popularity among voters and the economic and diplomatic successes of this administration, they continue to believe that on the right there are readers and donors who will keep them at it...

Fat chance. The man they detest is carrying out policies they so often claimed to support, and the voters -- most of whom they look down on -- approve...

The voters hold these views, despite the media’s nonstop lying. Voters are just not as stupid as the media thinks we are.

The votes may not be stupid, but they are not the ones counting the votes ...

Clarice, they are falling to pieces. Their snobbery overcomes them. Woe to those who at last find their 'fighting song' will soon be Patsy Cline singing, I Fall To Pieces.

The amazing thing is Jonah Goldberg’s new magazine proposal:

The PEFECT, more purified formula to exactly replicate failure.

Meh, if he feels he has to try, why should anyone spend energy trying to stop him.

“The failure of the Weekly Standard and the decline of the National Review have exposed the not-conservative Trump haters as unpragmatic, unrealistic snobs.”

Oh how I wish that Donald Trump had run against “W” Boosh! Just think where this country would be today. First of all, Trump would have dealt properly with 911, and taken down the Saudi’s instead of letting them flee the country. And more importantly, he would not have gotten us into a 20 year war with a bunch of Muslim savages. So the national debt would still be well under $10 billion, and a bunch of young men who didn’t deserve to die for that $hit hole called the Middle East would be raising their families and enjoying their lives. I am ashamed to have to say I voted for both of the Booshes to my everlasting shame!

they live in and create a fantasy world because they are too irrational and neurotic to accept and live in the real world

She is our powerful ALLY:

AOC PLANS:

-Making air transport illegal, building bridges to Europe and Hawaii
-Destroying and re-building EVERY structure in the USA using green tech
-Doing away with concrete as a construction input
-Saving money for socialized medicine via fewer funerals
-Eliminating beef-eating pets
-Cross-breeding humans and rabbit so we can all become vegans

FTA - "Beyond the media, there is an entire theory from the academy and coffee houses of Cambridge, Berkeley, and Madison to the effect that Democrats have been too far to the right for a long long time."

Me, among them. I've long advocated here that they need to go extreme, hard core, "Make Marx look like a Bougie Republican" left, all the way left, make Stalin look like Dwight Eisenhauer left, P!$$ on Lenin's grave for being a capitalist left.

They can't get far enough left for me. And they want that, too. They're just now admitting it. Good for them. Be yourselves, Democrats. It's what America desperately wants. Bring the proletariat home to their rightful place.

In any event, kudos to the press and the Cortez wing for leading the party down a suicidal path,

Clarice nails it and it's just the beginning. I love it.

Thanks for the ping!

Interesting to note how some nobodys “actually” end up being a somebody. The fact that the potential exists for it to happen is, and rightly so, should be a “red flag”.

I hold the Weekly Standard and the National Review in greater contempt than the MSM. These traitorous clowns have been working against their stated goals. Too bad both publications committed suicide. Take this Jonah Goldberg, and Bill Kristol.

Whatever happened to McConnell’s Green vote in the senate? Or was that just more of the usual and customary politician’s Bullshit?
