I'm realizing that many Democrats - in their hatred of Western Civilization - actually saw 9/11 as a good start, and admired the perpetrators as men of action. A few fringe university figures like Ward Churchill actually dared to voice that opinion in the days and weeks afterward and were quickly shot down - but 17 years later this view is now becoming mainstream Democrat ideology.

I don't recall a lot of radical Shinto Japanese nationalists being elected to USA political offices in 1958 - so thanks to Obama and our immigration policies things have changed.
