FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- California's DMV has been rife with scandal.
On Wednesday morning, lawmakers agreed to yet another audit, this time focusing on the program that registers drivers to vote.
"The problems with motor voter have risen to such a degree that there is a bipartisan effort in this," said Assemblyman Jim Patterson (R-Fresno).
The department has admitted mishandling voter registration information for 23,000 drivers and double-registering as many as 77,000 others.
Assemblyman Patterson claims over 500 Californians may not have been able to vote last November because the DMV did not send their information to the Secretary of State's office in time.
"The errors include registering 16-year-olds to vote....we have numbers of people who had their registration changed without their approval or knowledge. And actually sending them ballots they could vote through the mail," he said.
The Fresno County's Clerk's Office says it's no secret the DMV had processing problems last year, but it appears those issues have been straightened out.
"Most recently all the information we are receiving appears to be correct," Brandi Orth said.
The clerk says she still recommends for everyone to double-check their information on fresnovote.com, especially if they were involved in the Motor Voter snafu.

It took long enough. Of course, it’s a wonder conservatives have any power at all in communist California.
They are also sending voter registration cards with Obamacare letters. I got one the other day. Of course, I’m sure it has nothing to do with Gavin pushing coverage for illegals. Nothing at all.
Who could have seen this coming?
Since Motor Voter was first devised, we said it would result in this exact problem.

Those who denied this would happen, should be stripped of any office they still hold, and be prosecuted for willingly being complicit in participating in a voter fraud scheme.

It’s pretty hard to tell anyone in America anything. Especially Democrats.
I heard a lot of them making excuses for Obama way back in 2008.

Think of the failed opportunities to investigate that guy, even to prove he was born here.
They weren’t concerned - they just wanted their Liberal Messiah.
I can half-way expect the Democrats to fall for anything, but it amazed me how many people voted for Obama just to prove they weren’t racist, and they were such good loving citizens.

Patterson is the good guy here. I am theorizing that if the Democrats have agreed to an audit, that they realize a Federal investigation could turn up massive coordinated voter fraud enabled by the State of California.
Every time I hear Dennis Prager say how proud he was to be an American on January 20, 2008, I want to throw up.

There are two things the all powerful Democrats have
done regarding DMV that have really piqued my attention
and I have to believe a connection exists. They
provided voter registration forms and they permitted
illegal aliens to get California drivers licenses.
