No President wants clones of themselves as advisors. Trump hired Kudlow for his specific expertise in economics.
I guess I tend to think that those who failed to spot the biggest economic bubble in our lifetime have little claim to expertise in economics.
There were economists who did see the bubble and were warning of its collapse- Christopher Thornburg and Peter Schiff come to mind- but Kudlow was one of those who didn’t.
Larry doesn’t have a degree in economics, which doesn’t necessarily mean anything, but posturing as an expert while missing something as huge as the mortgage bubble probably does mean something.
‘Pendejo’ literally means “pubic hair.”
“Pendeja” (with an ‘A’) is the feminine form of “pendejo” (which is an example of actual “gender,” which has nothing to do with sex) and can be construed to mean idiot, fool or the aforementioned body orifice (et al.).
