I know what you mean. However, Michael Cohen comes across as...stupid. Tucker Carlson said something on his show the other night, and he said it matter-of-factly, not meanly: “I know Micahel Cohen; I like him; he's always struck me as a little slow.”

No telling what Mueller told him he was going to do to Cohen’s kids.
It’s dirty as hell to drag family members into a prosecution. The law doesn’t provide for that.
She co-signed the documents. So legally she’s on the hook.

How could she possibly confirm that is the ONLY reason? Not sure I’m buying the credibility of this story and if she truly thinks this about Cohen after witnessing his scorn while testifying, then she is a fool.
We have a pattern and practice of using family members as leverage against defendants. That’s not how it should work.
Cohen actually cleared Trump on a dozen Dem lies. No Russian collusion was the big one. Nothing he pointed to was illegal. Using high numbers for net work with Forbes isn’t a crime. Getting a break on property taxes isn’t a crime.
Cohen was facing 70 years. He got three and likely at a cush jail. Could have been a decade in a real jail where he’d be gang raped. Plus, take his wife away from his kids.
The State has tremendous power. Don’t think they play fair.

It depends on the language in the documents. A guarantor’s responsibility for representations made by the borrower could certainly be part of the deal.

There IS no Deep State, there is only THE GOVERNMENT and it does as it sees fit. Remember, what exactly IS government?
