A spokesman for White House senior adviser Jared Kushner's attorney told Fox News Thursday that President Trump's son-in-law received a top-secret security clearance through "the regular process with no pressure from anyone," after The New York Times reported that Trump "ordered" then-White House Chief of Staff John Kelly to grant the clearance against the advice of then-White House Counsel Don McGhan.
Fox News reported in May 2018 that Kushner had obtained a full security clearance. He had been working at the White House with an interim security clearance for the better part of a year, through late February 2018. That month, Kushner's interim clearance was downgraded from "interim top secret" to "interim secret" after Kelly set a Feb. 23, 2018, deadline for halting access to top-secret information for those whose applications have been pending since June 1, 2017, or earlier...(snip)
"In 2018, White House and security clearance officials affirmed that Mr. Kushners security clearance was handled in the regular process with no pressure from anyone," Peter Mirijanian, a spokesman for Kushner attorney Abbe Lowell, said in a statement. "That was conveyed to the media at the time, and new stories, if accurate, do not change what was affirmed...

They missed asking Michael Cohen about this.
So the media has been informed of this long ago, and it’s still popping off about the false narrative.
And they wonder why we ridicule the media as fake, and false.
Better part of a year? Sounds about right. Now if it was a few weeks or a month or two then yeah, someone bumped him to the front of the line. But 6, 8, 10 months or so is probably about the norm right now.
Do they have any reason he should be denied status?
Well besides him being a life long democrat ?
Jared Corey Kushner (born January 10, 1981) is an American investor, real-estate .... Jared Kushner had been a lifelong Democrat prior to Donald Trump entering politics
PROJECTION.
Who gave gave the Awan brothers and their extended family ‘clearances’ ?
Yeah? So what? The President is the final say on what is classified and what isn’t and who is cleared and who isn’t.
Nobody, and I mean NOBODY can over-rule him.
Of course, because the Slimes is such a reputable and trustworthy publication.
How did AOC’s main squeeze get a SC?
When I voted for Trump I wasnt expecting I would get Jared
I’m glad he’s around to be honest. He has a brain like a computer and, as the grandson of a Holocaust survivor, a unique perspective that allows him to see the world through a larger lens. And, he’s proving himself exceptional at quiet diplomacy - so quiet, the media forgets all about him.
wasn’t he working for Zero while she was interning for kennedy? That’s your answer.
oh yes, and then DW-S crying racism for anyone who questioned said brothers’ intentions
Is that you, Jared?
Is that you, Nancy?
And somehow, Faux News has never asked how VJ got her security clearance.
We still don’t know how an Iranian became the most powerful advisor to a President.
not just the media popping off - I’m so angry at what was said, off the cuff, without any proof, in the below Politico article today about the Kushner clearance, I’m not going to post it standalone, it can rot here. And talk about psyops - with the same people holding the Cohen closed door today, and this fakeness coloring their thoughts during the same.
:But anyway, here’s the list of what was said by whom - #4 is a doozie:
1. The security clearance process is supposed to function in an even-handed and neutral manner based on the national security interests of the United States, the chairman, Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-Md.), said in a statement Thursday night. This latest report indicates that President Trump may have granted access to our countrys most sensitive classified information to his son-in-law against the advice of career staff directly contradicting the Presidents public denials that he played any role.
2. (Schiff) the latest indicator of the Presidents utter disregard for our national security and for the men and women who sacrifice so much every day to keep us safe.
Schiff said Thursday: There is no nepotism exception for background investigations. Worse still was the White Houses oft-repeated lie that Kushner had been granted the clearance at the conclusion of a normal process. Reports indicate, moreover, that Kushners access to the nations most tightly held secrets, which require separate adjudication by the Intelligence Community, was restricted. This is a clear indication of the deep unease that national security officials have about Kushners suitability.
3. Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-Calif.), chairman of the Intelligence Modernization and Readiness Subcommittee, said Thursday that he was concerned the President has jeopardized our national security by putting clearances in the hands of unscrupulous people, and against the recommendations of background investigators.
Swalwell added: To ensure our deepest secrets are protected, we will work to ensure clearances are granted based on trust, not by blood or bond.
4. Rep. Ted Lieu (D-Calif.), who sits on the House Judiciary Committee, urged members of the national security community on Thursday to not share top secret information with Kushner.
Career security clearance professionals believed Jared Kushner was enough of a national security risk that he should not get a top secret clearance, Lieu said, adding: Trust the career professionals. Do the right thing. Your loyalty is to America, not to Kushner or Trump.
All three of these are traitors and must be tried then executed!
Correction all four!
