The image of illegals is a family sneaking across the border. That was never the whole story but since the caravans it has to be relegated to the memory hole. An army of thousands that we cannot screen and have no way to know who they are is a different thing. Wave after wave of such armies is, yes, an emergency.
Amash is always turning his reversible coat. The guy is as comfortable standing inside the GOP tent and pi$$ing on the center ring as he would be standing outside and pi$$ing through the entrance.
This vote in the house and then the senate supersedes and makes unnecessary any court action. The judiciary has no standing since the congress represents the states and the people and is the check and balance against presidential power.
In short Trump, after the state acts, should tell the judiciary they have no standing.
How many votes to override a presidential veto in the house? In the senate?
Try that line at a town hall meeting of your constituents, congressman.
This whole fiasco reminds me of the notorious “Boland Ammendment” that congress used to usurp Presidential power from Reagan.
Neither side wanted to challenge it in the SCOTUS, but the traitorous media couldn’t screech loud enough how “the President was breaking the law” to their sheep.
