Most likely, the liberal politicians of NJ and NY do not want McCarrick to have a day in court. He knows too much. If there is a bold prosecutor out there, the dirt is abundant.

Grein has a ton of dirt on McCarrick and is working with an attorney. Says he was silent for years out of fear McCarrick would in fact kill him. Also, feared he would not be believed. Now, he has a bodyguard.
